Poker game is available with number of version in casinos, but all they are played with same basic rules. Generally, players bet on cards value what they have in their hand and betting on common fund. Each player has to give the same amount of money when the final result come out in a round of betting. The player who holds the highest hand will win the game of poker and one who has still plays with ‘in the hand’, when all the other players have folded their hands. The poker hand is consisting of five cards, but it always depends on the kind of game you prefer to play in the casino. Therefore, the player could have more than five cards to play the game. Following are some values of poker hand. Royal Flush: Ace, King, Queen, Jack, 10, all of the same suit. Straight Flush: Five cards in the denomination series, all of the same suit. Four of a Kind: Four cards with the same value. Full House: Three cards of same value and another two cards with the same value. Flush: Five cards with the same suit but not the same value. Straight: Five cards in a series. Like 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 Three of a Kind: Three cards of same value. Two Pair: Two sets of cards with the same value. Like 5, 5, 6, 6, 2 One Pair: Two cards with the same value. High Cards: Where there is no other hand is possible with the cards you have, the highest value card of you hand is known as ‘high card’. Check: A player can bet on 0 if there is not a bet is placed already on the table and he can pass on to the next player. Call: A player can select the cards to match the bet, if there is already a bet on the table. Bet: A player places one by betting if there is not a bet on the table. Raise: A player can raise the bet if there is only a single bet on the table, Fold: A player give up the cards Showdown happens when there is more than one player still in the game, at the end of the last betting round. As per the poker rules, the player will win the game who has the best hand. |
